Roof mount support masts
Barker & Williamson's roof mount mast
systems, together with our broadband end-fed antennas, give base units the HF
communications capability needed in today's environment.
This mast system comes with a versatile foot for attachment to
a flat, pitched, or peaked roof.
Mast poles are made in 4 foot sections.
They are field assembled with an inner joiner, and bolted together.
Extra long guy lines are supplied, and lines run down to appropriate tie offs.
A halyard and pulley allow pulling up the antenna afterwards.
The material utilized for the pole sections
is a composite known as FRP - fiberglass reinforced plastic. Unlike cheap
"fishing pole" material it is extremely lightweight, strong, and rigid.
The color is throughout the material - no chipping paint. Also,
shock hazards are eliminated.
