Folded Dipoles with Full Camouflage

Our line of BWDI  folded dipoles is now available with full camouflage sand or green color.  The wires are PVC insulated copper which is very soft and flexible, making take up a breeze.  The spreaders are the same colored FRP material used on our mast systems.  Use with our carry bag for a fully camouflaged tactical system.

B&W Introduces Man Pack Antenna
 and Mast Kit - Fits in a corner of your Trunk

Designed by request of the Marines and Special Forces.  Barker & Williamson's manpack broadband folded dipole antenna and mast kit gives forward units the HF communications capability of a rear unit in one small, light, rapidly deployable kit.   EOC use allows one small, light package that fits in any trunk, ready for rapid deployment in the field.

Although focused on operating NVIS propagation from a field radio such as the PRC-150, the antenna is capable of fully automatic, low SWR operation from 1.6 - 30 Mhz without need for an antenna tuner/coupler.

The mast kit includes three 6 foot masts for NVIS use, that break down to only 18 inches in length.  The masts are made from FRP fiberglass poles.   Kits are complete with all fittings, guys, stakes, hammer, camouflage carry bag, etc.  They are available in forest green and sand colors.

Camouflage Carry Bag for Folded Dipoles

Digital ACU camouflage carry bag will hold any of our folded dipoles.  Includes light weight plastic cores for all weather deployment and take up of the antenna.   Wide velcro straps are supplied for securing after take up is completed.

Model FDMK Folded Dipole Mounting Kit

The FDMK mounting kit allows easy permanent or pulley mounting of our line of folded dipole antennas. This kit consists of a support system and ancillary items to mount the antennas in a three support installation. This includes horizontal (flat-top) or inverted Vee. The mount is versatile, allowing attachment to poles, masts, trees, towers, or free hanging from a rope.

High Power Folded Dipoles

We have medium duty baluns and balancing networks for 1KW continuous output operation, mainly for military and commercial work.  These units, like the LD-9 balancing network shown above, are housed in weather resistant enclosures for many years of reliable operation.  They offer the same great broadband operation as our standard, lower power units.
